How to set up your email account on a Apple Laptop Using Outlook
Step 1: Open Outlook
Open Microsoft Outlook on your Apple laptop. If you've never set up an email account on Outlook before, it should automatically prompt you to add one.
Step 2: Add Account
Click on
Filein the menu bar, then clickAdd Account.
Step 3: Enter Email Information
Enter your email address, which is
yourname@youremail.com, then clickContinue.
Step 4: Advanced Setup
Choose
IMAPand clickNext.
Step 5: Enter Server Information
Incoming Mail Server:

Step 6: Security and Authentication
Set the encryption method to
SSLfor both incoming and outgoing servers.Make sure the box that says
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authenticationis checked.
Step 7: Finalize Setup
Click
Nextand thenFinish. Outlook will test the account settings.
Step 8: Done
If everything is correct, you'll see a congratulations message. Click
Finishto complete the setup.
