How to set up your email account on a Apple Laptop Using Outlook

Step 1: Open Outlook

• Open Microsoft Outlook on your Apple laptop. If you've never set up an email account on Outlook before, it should automatically prompt you to add one.

Step 2: Add Account

• Click on File in the menu bar, then click Add Account.

Step 3: Enter Email Information

• Enter your email address, which is yourname@youremail.com, then click Continue.

Step 4: Advanced Setup

• Choose IMAP and click Next.

Step 5: Enter Server Information

• Incoming Mail Server: imap.youremail.com

• IMAP Port: 993

• Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.youremail.com

• SMTP Port: 465

Step 6: Security and Authentication

• Set the encryption method to SSL for both incoming and outgoing servers.

• Make sure the box that says My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked.

Step 7: Finalize Setup

• Click Next and then Finish. Outlook will test the account settings.

Step 8: Done

• If everything is correct, you'll see a congratulations message. Click Finish to complete the setup.
